2/16/11 - Student Chapel, "Light Up the World" with student speakers Rutendo Jokomo, Meeka Gentry and Zach Castor

On February 16, 2011, we were privileged to hear from some of our very own students at Southwestern during student chapel. The theme was "Light up the World," and the student speakers were Rutendo Jokomo, Meeka Gentry and Zach Castor. A special offering was also taken for Haitian hunger relief. 2/2/11 Chapel - Rev. Ben Hanne

Mission Moment: Belarus

1/26/11 Chapel -- Rev. Rodney Worsham

On January 26, Rev. Rodney Worsham spoke at chapel. He preached from Daniel 3 about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace. He reminded us that our "Daniels" are not always going to be around to help us out in desperate times of need. Sometimes, it is our turn to be the new "Daniel" to our peers. 12/1/10 Chapel -- Rev. Ashlee Alley

On December 1, 2010, Rev. Ashlee Alley spoke at chapel. Her message had a Christmas twist in order to celebrate the season in the last chapel of the semester! She spoke about the Magi in the Christmas story, and reminded students to think about what they really want for Christmas.
